Of course, you can arrive earlier and put your stuff in our luggage room. There might be chance that your room is already ready too, depends on the availability.

Should you arrive between midnight and 6am, we recommend you booking from the day before. Check-In is from 3pm. When you arrive at our building just call or ring the bell, so our night shift can open the door for you. Best option would be the train.

The Erdberg International Bus Station is about 20 to 30 minutes' subway ride away. The fastest way to get to our hotel is to take the U3 subway line going to Wien Ottakring and get off at Westbahnhof. From there it's just a 10 minutes' walk.

all our guests have acess to our guest kitchen in order to prekare their own food. There is a microwave and stove as well as a kettle and fridge.

Very close to the train station. The rooms were well maintained and clean throughout my multi-night stay.

There was a lack of well-placed outlets throughout the room for the number of beds.

This place has Potential

Nice, clean, Englisch speaking reception, room was cleaned everyday, towels included, bathroom high standard for hostal, kitchen spacious and well equipped. Lidl not so far and west Bahnhof 3 minutes by walking, Bed is very comfortable if you have down one. Reception is very helpful. There is option for continental breakfast and loundry for more than 10 euro. Room was spacious and nice, athmosphere in the place made it hard to move out.

NO INTERNET IN THE ROOM!!! I think this place could have much better marks if they bough router and make it avaliable to people to use internet in room. They have bike rental, loundry service, bar and No Internet in the room? No electric socket next to bed. I was in room for 6 people and there was possibillity to plug only 3 things at the same time.

Budget accomodation

I'vd been in most hostels of Vienna. Do Step Inn has it's pro: Superclean kitchen. Airport bus is near as well as trainstation snd both #6 and #4 lines of subway. Close to nain attractions. You may save on food with coocing capacity&supermarket.

The PILLOWS, the SHEETS are AWFULL!!!!!. They are clean, but Must be replaced with a proper ones!!! The stuff doesnt even has any clue as sheets are too short and pillows are not good and pilowcases not matching to the pillow. Honestly - this is annoying. And easy as well as cheap to fix. Just workers never put beddings on a ned to see how this works, so guest do this for themselves. I did not like an idea of fire protection. You simply do not have an electric port to charge your phone, while you are sleeping. You must buy a powerbank, charve it and then ... Cmmon, it is very uncomfortable. Else you will not have a hairdaryer! I cannor imagine, how people may feel well without hairdryer in their disposal. We had toilet in the same place with the shower. For 6 people at the room there has to be a separate toilet. To not make your roomates wait. But you may go to the underground toilet, it is not that bad. Overall, I like this hostel. I with this detailes to be fixed.

The staff at night was nice enough to let me sleep in a different room, though I wasn't allowed to use the bathroom there or bring any of my things.. they didn't want to have to clean up the 2nd room too much after I used it..

bedding not up to standard, cutting corners reduces pleasure of an otherwise well run property.

Sheets 50 cm too short to vcover the whole matress. no fitted sheet or duvet cover, only two tiny flat sheets. That and the low quality mattress which is covered in vinyl makes for an underwhelming sleep experience.

Room and washroom was clean. There is kitchen with all the facilities. Staffs were good. Location is very good.

The hand shower was not fine. It was spreading water in the toilet. Beds make sound when moving a bit which makes issues to sleep.

I wouldn’t change anything about the holiday stay

The location was perfect. It was less than 5 minutes away from the bus/tube/train station and from cheap supermarkets; as well as amazing food from local businesses (I highly recommend the Mexican restaurant about 5/10 minutes walk from the hostel). The staff were so kind and funny and made us all feel safe. Facilities were cleaned every day. Easy to navigate around the building. It felt very homely and comfortable, a lot better than I expected.

My only issue was that on one of the nights we had a male stay in our room of six. I was travelling with my other female friend in a 6 bed dorm and were under the impression it would be a same sex dorm. However it wasn’t an issue as everyone that came in and out of the hostel was lovely.

A comfy place to stay for a few days!

my 4th time to stay here ... just up the street from Westbahnhof & the U-bahn. Airport bus just down the street. Lovely kitchen space & grocery stores nearby. Beds are comfy, with light. Bathroom/shower are both good. Luggage storage before & after. Lovely friendly staff! A bar is there. Cozy to chat with people. The place is generally kept clean, moreso the public spaces & kitchen. Great breakfast options! Yes, I would stay there again!

plan carefully re: very very very few plugs in the room for recharging phones & batteries (etc). my room (with 6 people) -- the layout is a tad cumbersome with luggage & lockers (the room is a little dark). Probably the room needs a good clean -- I could tell by looking under the bed that it hadn't had one in a while -- only to point it out ;) Also, no curtains, fyi. But, the bed itself was clean & safe -- and YES I'd stay there again.

The staff was super nice, although some of them didn’t quite know how to answer my questions.

The room had a small bathroom, I would’ve preferred to have a common bathroom outside the room so that taking a shower in the evening wouldn’t bother others

The garden and kitchen... and restaurant... clean towerl and bedding sheet.

Toilet was inside a room. shower water tempersture wasnt stable. I cant charge my phone from the bed... because there was no electric power for each individual bed.
